Mycoplasma PneumoniaMycoplasma pneumonia is a lung infection caused by a bacteria-like organism (Mycoplasma pneumoniae). It is also called atypical pneumonia or "walking" pneumonia. Mycoplasma pneumonia is a common form of pneumonia, especially among people younger than 40. Symptoms of mycoplasma pneumonia include fever, coughing, weakness, and lack of energy.
