Postnasal DripPostnasal drip occurs when mucus from the nasal passages and sinuses drains into the throat. If the mucus becomes thick, postnasal drip can cause problems such as a sore throat, laryngitis, a cough, bad breath, hoarseness, and sometimes wheezing.
